The event, free to attend, will be hosted by Tails at the Barkery, and will cater to the pets and the ones who love them. Get dressed up, catch up with old friends and meet new ones, and help raise money for two animal nonprofit organizations: Mid Florida Sheltie Rescue and Touch of Grey Rescue.

The Costumed Pet Promenade begins at 1pm with participants and their Halloween costumed pets of all shapes and sizes following a map through Cocoa Village and making designated stops where they will collect special tricks or treats. At five stops, they will receive one playing card. At the end of the Costumed Pet Promenade, the person with the best poker hand will win a gift basket.

Pets dressed in their favorite Howl-O-Ween costumes can enter the howlingly fun pet costume contests beginning at pm. For purchase, there will be delicious food, beverages, and Artist Lori Prell will be on hand for caricature drawings. All pets must be on a leash, or in appropriate carriers, and have current vaccinations and county tags for the safety of our animals and friends.
